Part of processing this collection was going through and arranging the assortment of newspapers that came with this collection. Many of these newspapers either from the Atlanta-Journal Constitution or the Bremen Gateway-Beacon. The most interesting article I found from this assortment is the one present at the bottom. It is an Atlanta Journal Constitution article from July 14, 1985, which notes that Roy Sewell had survived a plane crash that occurred on February 26, 1941. Also on board and survived this plane crash, was WW1 flying ace and former president of Eastern Airlines Eddie Rickenbacker. The article goes on to note that Roy Sewell was an avid supporter of Auburn University and its sports team, earning the nickname "Mr. Auburn." He helped commission the university fighting song and once made the uniforms for the marching band for free. The article also notes that at 86, he still worked in his Bremen office, where his company employs more than 1,136 people at five plants.
